The main purpose of this project was to remodel the great room of a cottage. This is an open concept floor plan where the kitchen, living, and dining room share the same space. As inspiration, I used a piece of Picasso's work, The Pitcher and Bowl of fruit, which belongs to Cubism and Surrealism. Therefore, bold colours are used throughout the whole project. Another highlight to this space? The colorful stained glass is located just in front of the main entrance, and it is the focal point of the composition. The Living room and dining room are separated by a double-sided electrical fireplace made with black iron.
